Well Fed Farms

Well Fed eggs come from a happy flock of
heritage breed laying hens. Our production
model utilizes an “eggmobile”, a large coop
situated atop a hay wagon that is moved
around our field. Under the watchful eye of
our livestock guardian dog, Steve, the hens
are free to spend their days roaming the
pasture munching on grass and bugs. We
supplement our layers’ diet with and organic
grain mix from In Season Farms but the key
to the quality of our eggs is the large amount
of forage the hens eat. This varied, nutrient
rich diet creates flavorful eggs with deep
orange yolks and firm whites that are
unequaled in taste and quality.
